So Be It

love wins

by its sweetness
for the enemy can not fight
when covered in honey

the thickness and stickiness
holds them in place
until all are drunk
on its sugary taste

be still and know
that I am God
taste and see
yes, I am He

satisfy your cravings
by the fruit of My Spirit
taste it, smell it, see it,
touch it, so be it

  1. There’s a quiet authority here, where love doesn’t conquer by overpowering but by remaining. The way sweetness becomes both refuge and restraint echoes a deeper truth-that when God’s Spirit satisfies the heart, striving falls silent and even resistance is gently undone.
