life, like a movie,
a beginning and an end
you, the hero, other characters depend
upon the casting you put them in

an inciting incident gets things started
life is no journey for the faintly hearted
obstacles presented along the way
setbacks allowed so you can save the day

you, the hero, created to win
keep on keeping on my friend
throughout life’s highs, throughout life’s lows
however and wherever the path does go

be wary not to judge nor to condemn
for all has been cast into opposition
the dualistic realm is needed to play
let go of logic, be carried away

everlasting to everlasting

transcendence knows no end
so many roles you’ve played

over and over again

truth will find you—heaven’s point of view
the path is narrow and sojourners are few
the script for life is a romantic quest
the after party welcoming all of its guests

for you were before the story began
and you shall be also beyond the end
when the credits roll and the lights turn on
into the Great I Am you will be drawn
