as the butterfly flutters
around, reflecting its beauty
amidst the garden

so too, can we absorb
the beauty of
the highs and lows in life

that which you love
you will, in time, need to let go
and the loss will deeply sting

but with love, release
and appreciate what has been
trusting what will be

letting go sets one free
to love again, and love
always comes

though it takes many forms
let not your heart be forlorn
love is unchanging and true

see me in you
and you in me, together
always, we will be
