We are all made
to face the storms,
head into the winds
with determined force
for this is how we grow—
headwinds make us stronger.

But many balk,
sitting among constricted companions
letting fearful fantasies rule them;
too idle to engage with what lays ahead
tho they may make a last attempt
to ride another’s tailwinds.

So when you feel the Spirit deep within
tugging and pulling you to arise
recognize your time to fly has come;
the winds of opportunity are blowing
your decision to soar or lay idle will be showing
your desire, based on your current knowing.
