“Be still,” they said.
So I was still.
They dimmed the lights.
So I sat in the dark.
Turning on the screen,
I saw its light.
Tuning into their channel
I became entranced.
“This is your program,
created especially for you.”
I accepted what was placed
in front of my eyes.
The words I heard
the stars speak
penetrated my soul
through this orchestrated
medium of television.

“Be still and
know that I Am
God.”
So I was still
and in the silence,
I have found
I Am.

Two visions
present themselves, like
two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made
all the difference.
