It is a self-perpetuating suffering
for the one who takes the invisible
and wraps it so tightly within visible form
that he suffocates it’s breath
entrapping it in a tomb
of his own making.

With the Lord’s anointing I proclaim the good news—
God’s kingdom is within and Heaven is near.
I have been sent to mend broken hearts,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release prisoners from the darkness;
the year of the Lord’s favor is upon us.

Removing the burial cloths, I call out your name
With the Spirit’s breath of life, I say rise again.
Enter the light and behold the good news
what I, the Christ, have done within you.

Walk in the Way, stand in the Truth,
Be the everlasting Life.
This is love, peace, and joy,
here now in our midst.

Taste and see
that I Am.
