I’m gonna smile when the sun is out;
I’m gonna smile when it goes away.
When storm clouds roll in to battle my soul,
I’m gonna smile in their midst all the same.

For my power lies in my attitude, and
I won’t let the storm steal my show.
I’ll close my eyes to see clearly
the direction that I shall go.

This is vision of the mind,
aligning with the heart.
Solid ground beneath my feet,
no more will I depart.
