We live in a world

of do this, do that

faster, faster, faster.

God says, “be still…”

What might we learn
if we were to quiet our minds,
if we were to quiet our hearts.

Emptying ourselves

of the world’s distractions;
seeking a solitudinal place of rest.

Man wasn’t made for the Sabbath;

the Sabbath was made for man.


“Be still and know

that I Am.”
