Adam and Eve gave authority away
when they chose to disobey.

For authority comes in Oneness,
surrendering to God—
not my will but Yours be done.

Chastity—to chase or not to chase.
Now it has begun; this is the race.

Keep your eyes on the prize.
Don’t idolize—that’s the way of the unwise.

Jesus came and took it back
all authority in Heaven and on earth
was given to Him, He without sin.

Tho he was tested, He stayed strong.
He was pure; He did no wrong.

He laid down His life, with unconditional love.
That was His purpose; He was sent from above.

And in resurrection power, He took those keys.
There is no more control in death or hades.

This is the team to whom I belong;
Hallelujah is the Overcomer’s Song!
