Snow falling softly
against a gray, cloudy sky
invoking feelings of sadness and loss.

I close my eyes
and see my loved one
treasured and cherished, held in my heart.

Love warms me.

I open my eyes
and see snow falling softly
against a gray, cloudy sky
now invoking feelings of hope;
for with faith I see differently.

I choose to see the Light beyond the gray clouds.
Faith, Hope and Love rests on the horizon
awaiting breakthrough.
