God meets me where I am.
God gives me what I need.
God is always there
though sometimes I don’t see.

Sometimes I don’t feel Him.
My faith at times runs thin.
But when I’m sinking deep in pain
I still call on Him.

Sometimes it’s in my anger.
Sometimes it’s through my tears.
Yet I have always found
He holds me close and pulls me near.

Like a child who throws a tantrum
or one who’s hurt and cries,
God holds me in my pain
and looks into my eyes.

His presence brings me comfort.
When I slow down I clearly see.
My God is everywhere.
His love surrounding me.
