In the raging of storms
though you may feel caught
there is an escape
when shelter is sought

As darkness grows fierce
and noise deafens ears
peace can be found
when you release your fears

Lean into the One
who has ultimate control
He will fight your battle
and protect your soul

Love overcomes
in this rageful storm
There’s no need to believe
darkness is the norm

God has already won
even as the battle plays out
even as the enemy continues
to scream and shout

Remember, we’re the victors
overcomers in this day
and we can be certain
God has the final say

So take a deep breath
and rest in the knowing
in the raging of storms
faith can keep growing

Tho the rains pound down
and the winds blow strong
when the sun rises again
all will hear my song

Declaring loudly
my God has rescued me
My light shining ever more brightly
for all to see
