And words can also hurt me

Sticks and stones may cause my death
And words can also kill me

Sticks and stones can be taken away
But the tongue can constantly attack

To fight with sticks and stones may break my bones
And words slice open my soul

Sticks and stones may cause me to bleed
And words take an internal toll

Sticks and stones are violent weapons
And words are as well

Sticks and stones pain an external body
And words can make the internal hell

Sticks and stones are never the answer
But they do always cause pain

And words are a weapon for good or evil
Do I really have to explain
